Chicken Spice Rub

This recipe is adapted from Fleisher’s butcher shop in New York. It makes a lot of rub on the spicier side but we loved it at our house and stored extra for another meal, maybe some pork chops…

Mix together:

1/3 cup coarse salt

1/3 cup dried sage

1/3 cup garlic powder

1/4 cup onion powder

1/4 cup paprika

3 tablespoons dried thyme

3 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper

3 tablespoons dried oregano

1 tablespoon cayenne


Store in a sealed jar. Enjoy!
